Dashain
The Dashain, the greatest festival of Hindu Nepalese is marked with typical Nepalese cultural programs in September or October evet year. This program is also an icon for many Nepalese who are living away from their home and families. It provides not only opportunities to entertain cultural program but also meet and greet others on the occasion of the greatest festivals, be blessed from elders and make new friends as family member while living abroad. Many individuals miss their family in the festivals; therefore, this program is very important to have a sense of belonging in the community.
There are many other programs organized by RN Society through Durga Temple, such as Swasthani Brat, Ekadashi, Fagu Poornima, Maha Shiva Ratri, Nag Panchami, Kushe Aushi, Janai Poornima and so on in addition to the programs listed above.
